Is McKinsey Keep in Touch selective or does everyone get it?

I was invited to McKinsey Keep in Touch after not moving forward and I cannot tell how much to read into it. Is KIT actually selective, or is it something most rejected candidates get? I am happy to stay connected either way, but I do not want to mistake a generic program for some hidden fast track.

Do not assume every rejected candidate receives the same follow-up. Keep in Touch can be selective, but the selection logic is not public enough to turn the invitation into a precise ranking of your candidacy.
