Google Calendar Data
When you choose to connect your Google Calendar, CaseBasix accesses Google Calendar data strictly to provide scheduling, booking, and calendar synchronization features.
- For Coaches: CaseBasix uses Google Calendar read access (
../auth/calendar.readonly) to view your existing calendar events and identify schedule conflicts. By checking these pre-existing commitments, our platform accurately calculates and displays only your open, bookable time slots to students, preventing double-bookings. - For Students and Coaches: CaseBasix uses calendar management access (
../auth/calendar.events) to automatically create calendar events on both the coach's and student's Google Calendars once a coaching session is confirmed. It also allows the platform to automatically update the specific event details if a session is rescheduled, or delete the event if the session is canceled by either party.
Data Protection and Limited Use Requirements
- CaseBasix uses Google Calendar data only for the scheduling and calendar sync features described above. We do not use Google Calendar data for advertising, resale, user profiling, or unrelated analytics.
- CaseBasix does not sell Google user data. We do not share Google Calendar data except as necessary to provide the scheduling features, comply with applicable law, protect the security and integrity of our services, or with your explicit consent.
- CaseBasix's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Third-Party Service Providers
CaseBasix may use third-party service providers to operate our services, including website hosting, learning management systems, payment processing, email communication, analytics, customer support, and calendar integrations.
These providers may process information only as needed to provide services to CaseBasix. We do not sell personal information to third parties.
Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain business records, and protect the security of our services.
Google Calendar connection tokens and data are retained only as needed to maintain the active calendar synchronization features authorized by the user.

- Users may request the permanent deletion of their personal information or their Google Calendar connection data by contacting us at support@casebasix.com.

Security
CaseBasix uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
