You can reuse a genuinely strong story, but do not assume the same set of examples is automatically the best choice a year later.
Reapplying is an opportunity to show growth. Newer examples may demonstrate a higher level of responsibility or judgment, and there is also a chance that interview notes from the prior process contain themes worth improving.
A leadership story from two years ago may still be your strongest example, but if you have since managed a more complex project or difficult stakeholder situation, the newer story may better show your current level.
Review every old fit story against what you have done since the last application. Keep the strongest ones, replace weaker examples with newer evidence, and improve the reflection and takeaway even when the core story stays the same.
