I was rejected after interviews in one office and plan to reapply after the cool-off period. Would applying to a different office improve my chances, or does switching locations look like I am just trying to avoid the prior rejection?
Since my last rejection I have been promoted and taken on stronger projects, but I have not done much additional case practice yet. Is the stronger resume enough reason to reapply now, or should I wait until the interview side of my profile has also improved?
Mayank G.CoachA stronger profile helps, but if the previous rejection came at the interview stage, reapplying without improving case performance may reproduce the same outcome.
I was rejected by my preferred office last cycle and I am planning to reapply after the waiting period. Is it smarter to target a different office this time, or stay with the location I actually want?
Mayank G.CoachDo not change offices solely because you think a different location will erase the previous rejection. Choose the office that makes sense for your geography, authorization, language, industry interests and long-term plans.
I was rejected by an office I liked and am now eligible to reapply. Since then, several senior people have moved and the practice mix seems different. Should I still treat it as the same office decision, or reassess it from scratch before reapplying?
Mayank G.CoachReassess the office rather than assuming your old preference is still correct. A meaningful leadership or practice change can alter the experience you would be joining.
