Start by learning the basic case flow, then practice the core skills separately before relying only on full cases.
A beginner improves faster when the format is familiar and each skill can be isolated. Otherwise, a full case can feel difficult everywhere at once and give you very little useful feedback.
Learn how the prompt, clarifying questions, structure, analysis, math, brainstorming, and final recommendation fit together. Then do short drills before combining them in full cases.
Use one introductory case to understand the format, then rotate through structuring, math, and data-analysis drills. Once those feel less foreign, add live full cases and review every mistake. Keep a short note of what improved and what still broke so the next practice session has a clear purpose.
