Would you choose MBB over a strategy role with much better hours?

I'm comparing an MBB path with an internal strategy role that would probably be 15-20 hours lighter per week. The strategy role is still interesting, just less variety and brand.

How much weight would you put on the lifestyle difference this early in a career?

The lifestyle difference deserves real weight because fifteen or twenty hours every week changes how much energy you have for relationships, health, and life outside work.

Compare what MBB adds against what the strategy role already offers. If the internal role gives strong learning, ownership, and progression, the incremental value of MBB may be smaller than it first appears.

Early career development matters, but it is not the only variable. A sustainable path can compound too.
