Use remaining time when the assessment allows review and there is something meaningful to check. Finishing early is not inherently valuable if a quick review can catch a misread instruction or calculation mistake.
At the same time, do not repeatedly second-guess a sound answer just because time remains. Review the highest-risk items: instructions, units, selected option, and any step where you made an assumption.
The exact navigation rules vary by assessment, so follow the interface and invitation you actually receive. Some formats may not allow returning to earlier items or may structure time differently.
Build a simple review routine in practice so you know what to check without creating unnecessary changes. Accuracy and decision quality matter more than using every second mechanically.
