Take the quality of the experience seriously, not just the title.

A strong non-consulting role can still be very relevant if you know how to showcase non-consulting internships for consulting.

Look for analytical ownership, leadership, exposure to decisions, and measurable results. Those experiences can create excellent resume bullets and interview stories.

Do not reject a strong opportunity solely because the word consulting is missing from it.

Real responsibility beats fancy title imo.
