It is useful to do at least some practice on the same device and setup you plan to use for the real assessment.
The content and decision process matter most, but small interface differences can create avoidable friction. Screen size, browser behavior, mouse versus trackpad, and window layout can all affect how comfortable you feel under time pressure.
If you have only practiced with a mouse on a large monitor, switching to a smaller laptop and trackpad on test day may slow navigation even if you understand the tasks perfectly.
Run a short practice session on the actual laptop, confirm the browser and display settings, and use the input device you plan to use on test day. Do this early enough to change the setup if something feels awkward. If useful, this guide on McKinsey Solve guide gives more detail.
