Sometimes I get asked about an unfamiliar market or concept and I genuinely don't know the fact. Is it better to admit that, or should I always try to reason something out?
My interview was scheduled for both fit and case, but we spent the whole time on the case and never got to behavioral questions. Is that a bad sign, or just interviewer timing?
My invite just says 'case interview' and doesn't say whether it will be interviewer-led or candidate-led. Is it okay to ask recruiting which format to expect?
Mayank G.CoachYes, it is reasonable to ask about the interview format.
One of my strongest leadership examples is a project that ultimately missed its target. I learned a lot and changed the team's direction, but the final outcome wasn't a win. Is that still a good fit story?
Mayank G.CoachYes, a failed or mixed-outcome project can be a strong story if your actions and learning are clear.
