For McKinsey BA recruiting, does the early interview track actually move through decisions faster than the regular process, or is it mostly just an earlier first-round date with the same gaps between rounds?
The exact calendar can vary by office and recruiting cycle, so do not assume the gap between rounds will be identical every year.

If timing matters because of another offer, tell the recruiter. They may be able to clarify the expected decision window or whether an accelerated process is possible.

Choose the window based primarily on readiness and any real deadline you are managing. There is little value in taking an earlier interview if the extra time would materially improve your case and personal-experience performance.

Both ends of that range can happen. Timing depends on interviewer availability, office scheduling, recruiting volume, and whether the firm is trying to meet another offer deadline.
