For a virtual consulting interview, dress at the same professional level you would for an in-person interview unless the firm tells you otherwise.

The goal is to remove distraction. A clean background, good lighting, stable camera position and professional clothing matter more than finding a special "consulting" outfit.

Choose something you have worn before so you are not adjusting it during the interview.

Test the full setup on camera the day before, including audio, framing and any notes or paper you plan to use.

I heard back three days later. The wait did not mean anything in my case.
