Do not choose feedback based on which person sounds more confident. Look for the underlying behavior each person is reacting to.
"Be more structured" and "be less rigid" can both be true. You may need a clearer logic at the start while also becoming more flexible once new information enters the case.
Ask each partner for one or two concrete moments from the case where your approach hurt the answer. Specific examples are much more useful than broad labels.
Then test the change across several different cases. If the same weakness appears with multiple partners or repeatedly affects your ability to solve the case, prioritize it. If feedback only appears once and is mostly stylistic, treat it as lower-confidence evidence.
