Not necessarily. Interviewers correct assumptions for many reasons, including keeping the case on the intended path.
What matters is how you respond: acknowledge the new information, update your logic and continue without becoming defensive.
If the assumption ignored facts already given, that is more concerning than an assumption the case simply needed to specify.
Do not evaluate the whole interview based on one correction. Look at the overall pattern of your performance.
