Stay in the major that fits your interests and where you can perform strongly unless you have a separate reason to switch.

Consulting firms do not require a business degree for generalist roles. They recruit candidates from engineering, sciences, humanities, and many other disciplines.

Build business familiarity through case prep, electives, clubs, internships, and reading. A strong non-business candidate is generally better positioned than someone who switched majors only to look more consulting-like.

I stayed STEM and never regretted it.

Business classes helped with vocabulary, but the major did not get me the interview.
