Once you have enough strong college experience, most high school content should come off the resume. The college years are more relevant to how you operate now.
Keeping one exceptional item can make sense if it remains genuinely distinctive, but routine awards, clubs and school leadership usually lose value quickly after freshman year.
A useful test is opportunity cost: if the high school line forces you to remove a stronger internship, research project or college leadership bullet, it is probably time to delete it.
Prioritize the most recent evidence of academics, impact and leadership. Let high school stay only when it adds something your current record does not. By junior year, high school material should usually survive only if it is unusually selective or directly relevant to the story you are telling. For more detail, see the consulting resume guide.
