If the first university is part of the degree history shown on your transcript, including it can avoid confusion, but you do not need to give both schools equal prominence.
The goal is an accurate education section that makes the final degree and current institution obvious. Recruiters care more about the degree you are earning, grades, and relevant achievements than the transfer itself.
A compact format can show the current university first and the prior institution on a shorter line with the dates attended, especially if credits transferred.
Match the resume to the application form and transcript. Do not hide a school the firm explicitly asks you to disclose, but do not over-explain a normal transfer either. Use one concrete example to make the point easier to believe and easier to remember.
