I interned at the same company in two summers and the roles were related but not identical. On a one-page consulting resume, is it cleaner to combine them under one employer or list them separately so the progression is obvious?
My internship ended before one of the projects was fully implemented, but I did a lot of the analysis and recommendation work. Can I still include the project on my resume if the final outcome is not known?
Mayank G.CoachYes, if the work itself was substantial and you describe only what you actually completed. You do not need to exclude a good project simply because implementation continued after your internship ended.
A lot of my strongest internship work involved confidential client information, so I cannot name the client or disclose exact numbers. How can I write strong consulting resume bullets without either becoming vague or revealing information I should not share?
Mayank G.CoachYou can write strong confidential-work bullets by describing the problem, your action, scale, and outcome without naming the client or disclosing protected figures. Precision does not require sensitive information.
I studied abroad for a semester and it was a meaningful experience, but I did not work or complete a major project there. Is that worth including on a consulting resume, or should it stay only in the education section if there is room?
Mayank G.CoachStudy abroad can stay on the resume when it adds meaningful academic, language or international context, but it does not need its own large section if there was no major project or work experience.
