For most consulting applications, one page is still the cleanest default because recruiters scan quickly and want the strongest evidence rather than a complete career history.
Experienced hires can justify two pages when there is genuinely relevant experience that cannot be compressed without losing important context. The second page should add substance, not older responsibilities that are no longer differentiating.
