I stop after almost every wrong answer and analyze it, but that breaks the rhythm. If I wait until the end, I sometimes forget what I was thinking.
For prep, is immediate review better or should I finish the whole timed block first?

For timed practice, finish the block first and review afterward. Stopping after each question changes the pacing conditions and makes it harder to learn how you perform under pressure.
During untimed learning sessions, immediate review can be useful because the reasoning is still fresh.
Use both modes deliberately: timed blocks for performance, untimed review for learning.
timed block first, review after. otherwise you're not training pacing.
Immediate review for drills, end review for mocks.
In practice tests I sometimes move comfortably through one section and then slow down a lot in another. Should I use the same time-per-question target across the test, or adjust pacing by section difficulty?
Mayank G.CoachDo not assume every section deserves the same time per question if the test structure or difficulty is different.
When I practice timed aptitude questions, one difficult item can eat a lot of time. For Bain TestGorilla, should I move on quickly when I am stuck and return later, or is that risky depending on how the test is configured?
Mayank G.CoachFirst check whether your specific TestGorilla format allows you to move back to earlier questions. Do not build a skipping strategy around an interface assumption.
If I do not finish every item in one section of the Bain assessment, does that automatically mean I failed, or should I just focus on the remaining sections?
Mayank G.CoachDo not assume one unfinished section automatically determines the outcome.
