Keep the hobby only if you can preserve the strongest evidence of your experience. Interests can make you more memorable, but they should not displace an important achievement.

The interests section is a small supporting signal. It can make the resume feel more human and sometimes creates an easy interview conversation, but recruiters still need the core evidence of impact, leadership, and progression first.

If the choice is between removing a weak fourth bullet from an older internship or deleting a distinctive hobby, the hobby may be worth keeping. If you would have to cut your best leadership result, the tradeoff is not worth it.

Protect your strongest bullets first. Then see whether you can keep a one-line interests section without shrinking the font or making the page crowded.

A weird hobby is actually a nice conversation starter if the rest of the resume is already strong.

I would cut the weakest old bullet before deleting something memorable.
