Focus on impact, ownership, problem solving and leadership rather than trying to rename ordinary work as consulting.
For each role, show what changed because of your work: revenue, cost, process, customer outcome, team performance, decision quality or scale. Quantify when the number is meaningful.
Your strongest bullets should also demonstrate progression. Promotions, larger scope, executive exposure and cross-functional leadership help recruiters understand how you developed before the MBA.
Do not hide operational or technical experience. Translate it into business outcomes and decisions. The goal is to make your experience understandable to a generalist recruiter, not to pretend you already did the exact job you are applying for. For more detail, see the consulting resume guide and the guide to presenting business experience.
