One interviewer told me to be more concise, while another said I should explain my reasoning more clearly. Those feel like opposite directions. How should I translate conflicting feedback into something practical to work on before the next interview?
I received feedback that I need to be more structured, but nothing more specific. That could mean my case framework, my communication, or even my fit answers. How would you diagnose what the interviewer probably meant and what to practice next?
Mayank G.Coach"Be more structured" is too broad to act on by itself, so break it into observable behaviors.
I was rejected after interviews and the recruiter offered a short feedback call. Is it reasonable to ask whether the main concern was case performance or fit, or is that too direct?
Mayank G.CoachYes, you can ask for the broad area of concern if the recruiter is willing to provide feedback.
I had an interview where I know the case did not go well. I normally send a short thank-you note, but I do not want it to sound like I am trying to fix the performance afterward. Is it still worth sending?
Mayank G.CoachYes. A short thank-you note is still appropriate if that is your normal practice. It should not become an apology, post-interview case correction, or attempt to relitigate your performance.
