A Bain referral can help give your application internal context, but it does not guarantee an interview.

Think of it as an additional signal supporting an already competitive application. The consulting referral guide explains why the strength of the underlying profile still matters.

Complete the application carefully and prepare normally. The referral may help you get looked at, but it does not replace the resume screen or later interview bar.

Referral got me looked at, definitely did not make the interviews easier.
