You do not need a business degree to start casing. Begin with the interview flow, basic business vocabulary, simple market and profitability concepts, exhibit reading and straightforward case math.
Do not try to memorize a large library of frameworks first. Learn how to break an unfamiliar objective into logical questions, then practice applying that thinking to different case types.
Your non-business background can be an advantage if it taught you structured problem solving, but you need to translate that reasoning into clear business language and recommendations.
Start with easier cases and targeted drills, then add full live cases once you understand the mechanics. After each case, identify one skill to improve rather than simply counting how many cases you completed. For more detail, see the case interview overview.
