I sometimes identify the right insight from the data but jump straight to what the client should do. How do I keep an insight separate from a recommendation so the logic is clearer?
I know I need a final recommendation, but I am less clear on when to summarize during the middle of a case. When is a mini-synthesis useful, and when does it just interrupt the flow?
Some mocks end while there are still unresolved issues. I find it hard to sound decisive when the analysis is incomplete. How should I structure a final recommendation when I know there are important things we have not tested?
Mayank G.CoachYou can still make a recommendation when the analysis is incomplete, but you need to separate what you know from what remains uncertain. Decisive does not mean pretending every question is closed.
Sometimes the evidence is positive but there is still one big uncertainty. Is it acceptable to recommend a pilot rather than a full launch, or does that sound too cautious?
Mayank G.CoachA pilot can be the strongest recommendation when the expected upside is attractive but a material uncertainty is still unresolved.
