You can reuse a strong story in the final round if it genuinely answers the question. There is no need to retire your best example simply because one interviewer has heard it.
At the same time, you should prepare alternatives. Interview feedback may be shared, and final-round interviewers may probe different dimensions of the same competency.
If you reuse a story, answer the question in front of you rather than repeating the exact script from round one. The emphasis may need to change.
Prepare at least two credible examples for the major fit themes. That gives you flexibility without forcing weaker stories just to be different. Keep the answer anchored in the actual decision rather than trying to satisfy an imagined recruiter rule. For more detail, see the case interview guide.
