Do not assume every office runs the exact same pre-interview process. Recruiting practices can differ by geography, school, candidate type, and cycle.
A coffee chat can be a positive interaction, but not receiving one is not proof that your application is out.
Use official communications as the real signal. Until you receive an interview decision, avoid trying to reverse-engineer your status from what other candidates were invited to do.
